Meaning of the error C-7001 on Kyocera Taskalfa 4052ci

The error code C-7001 on the Kyocera Taskalfa copier stands for Toner cartridge error or Toner container motor error. It indicates that the toner cartridge is locked up and it’s not rotating.That is, there is a motor operating for the four cartridges ( Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black) on a copier. This error can occur if any of the cartridges are tight, damaged or have any kind of rotating problem.

Solution for the error C-7001 on Kyocera Taskalfa 4052ci

This error will occur if you are using a compatible Toner on your copier. So, always use original toner on your machine.

  1. Replace the toner cartridge
    • Black, Cyan, Yellow, Magenta If any of these cartridges are low or have any complaints, your machine may have this error.  So, check the cartridges by replacing each cartridge.
  2. Check the Toner container motor
    • If the toner container motor does not work, the cartridge will not work.  So you need to enter service mode and check it to know if it works or not.
    • To enter service mode, you need to press ‘1087‘ and press ‘1087‘ again. Now you are in service mode.  Then, press ‘U132‘ After that, select the ‘START‘ button.  Then, touch ‘Executive‘ and press the START button. 
    • Now you can see if the motor is running or not.  If the motor does not work check the motor and also check the toner container unit.
    • The toner container motor is located on the back of the machine. This error also occurs if the motor is damaged or there are any problems with the connection of the motor. Check the wire connectors and make sure they are connected properly. Additionally, it can also happen if the contacts are not correct. So, check these parts and replace them if necessary.
